Microblading Treatment

Microblading is a slightly different method of tattooing. It is done by using a hand tool which creates small incision like hairs to mimic the real hair of the brows. This is best for those who have very fine hairs and also those who have normal skin. This technique is not suitable for dry, sensitive, mature skin.

This technique originated in Asia and has become very popular in the last few years all across the world. Microblading is done by using a unique hand instrument with a small row of very fine needles which range in diameter from 0.16-.25mm that deposit pigment into the epidermis with making tiny incision in the skin. This creates very crisp, fine hair strokes that don’t blur after healing however you do have to meet the right requirements to opt for microblading.

This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes.

The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a four-week period.

The results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment. However this can range from person to person. I would advise to come back once every 6 months to begin and overtime increase that time gradually.

Treatment Process

We will discuss your treatment in detail. The technique that is best for you. Your practitioner will draw in your brow shape, and discuss colour, thickness and stroke type with you. Once you agree the shape, you will have your eyebrow tattooing completed. Each treatment stage will be documented on the photograph. Please also be aware that a model release form will also need to be signed.

Your initial appointment will take about two-three hours, which includes a full consultation as well as your treatment itself. Following this, we normally ask you to come back for a touch up around four to six weeks later if it is needed. (This is Complimentary.)

Results and Recovery

You can go straight back to work if you’d like to. There may be some reddening of the area, however this will go within the hour or so. However, in most cases our clients are fully back to normal later the same day, and completely recovered within a week.

The pigmentation will take a couple of weeks to fully settle in, so we ask clients to return to us around four to six weeks after treatment to have their tattooed eyebrows touched up. Once this is done, the results will last for around a year before any further touch up is required.
